I wanted them to stay in their own home environment since they were older and not put them through the stress of a boarding facility.

They are fantastic pets if you get to know more about them! Most people don't know that rabbits are not rodents and they are almost as intelligent as a dog or cat. They are social animals and look at humans as their protector. They need daily exercise and attention and should never be left in a cage all day. Rabbits also shed more than dogs or cats and need to be brushed out often. The average life span of a rabbit is 8 to 10 years, so just make sure you are in it for the long haul. I didn't know until a few years ago that rabbits can be litter trained! Rabbits are loving pets and we recommend adopting a rabbit as an option. There are so many people that don't take the time to learn about a rabbits personality and they end up being let go outside or they are placed at a shelter.
